As children we asked our parents to tell us stories; To recount tales from long ago, not knowing whether they were reality or fiction. Lines blurred. Yet the stories remained profound and they touched our hearts. As we get older, those stories become less frequent and our capacity to believe in an alternate reality declined.
‘The Kingdom’ is my first solo art exhibit, developed into book form. Through this exhibit we explore a reality, one painted by Jesus Christ during his time on earth, a kingdom different from the one’s we’ve come to know. One governed by faith, hope, and love. A kingdom that saw the last as being first, and the first last.
